Job Purpose

Reporting to the E-commerce Manager, we are looking for a highly motivated Marketplace Manager to join our team to develop and execute a comprehensive international Marketplace sales strategy. We’re looking for someone with the right experience to grow this channel, who is keen to learn, has an eagle eye for detail and a willingness to go above and beyond to grow our business to agreed ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing, planning and updating global product listings across all Marketplaces, ensuring fit with company strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Managing Marketplace pricing, optimising according to channel strategy and roadmap.
  • The ongoing development and delivery of the marketplace weekly trade plan.
  • Marketplace opportunity research and competitor analysis.
  • Driving automation of key processes where possible.
  • Optimisation of performance across Marketplaces and delivering to customer promise.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure high availability and successful fulfilment.
  • Amazon Seller Central account management & management of any future marketplace accounts.
  • Planning and executing global inventory plan for FBA listings across all Amazon stores.
  • IP management across Marketplaces.
  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting of marketplace channel performance.

Skills/Attributes:

  • At least 3 years of work experience, including 1 year or more direct experience of managing sales via Amazon.
  • Knowledge of the Amazon campaign manager platform. Previous experience using sponsored products and sponsored brands, with an eagle eye for bid optimisation, whilst working to a budgeted Acos.
  • A solid understanding of the Amazon business and how to work with the systems to effect change.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience of meeting & beating sales targets.
  • Understanding of Inventory Management.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and use your initiative.
