Our New Year trip promises to again be an extra-special occasion. New Year's Eve brings a gala dinner and live music, provided by local Berber musicians!

Situated in the foothills of the atlas mountains, just 45 minutes from Marrakech Airport, you will enjoy daily guided walks directly from the door and mindful yoga twice daily for each full day of the retreat. On one day there is an option extended walk, for those that wish to explore a little deeper into the lower Atlas Mountains.

Accomodation is in this very special, recently-built Kasbah (Berber castle). Sitting on its own hill-top, the venue is surrounded with panoramic mountain and sweeping views.

It was designed with the environment in mind, and is surrounded by five hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens, ripe with olives, almonds, figs and pomegranates. Where possible, heating of water is derived directly from the sunshine.

Accommodation is comfortable and spacious (rather than luxurious), with a rustic feel befitting the setting.

Rooms, which are all en-suite, are traditionally designed with Moroccan materials: cedar and eucalyptus wood, red sandstone, hand-made clay tiles, locally-made furniture with Berber motifs. Rooms have views of either the gardens or the sweeping valley below.



Food is locally sourced and seasonal and lovingly prepared by the Kasbah's very own chefs (regretfully, we are unable offer special diets).


Our teacher, Daniel approach is friendly and inclusive, and completely suitable for those of all levels of yoga experience, from complete beginners to guests with an established practice. Each morning, a 75-minute hatha flow yoga class will stretch and enliven the body in preparation for our walk. The evening's yoga and meditation class will be a far softer, reflective combination of gentle yoga, meditation and yoga nidra (a deep, powerful form of relaxation): the perfect wind-down after the day's activities!
