Senior Operations Manager

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Operations & Senior Management Team, this role is varied, interesting and fast-paced and is at the very heart of our business. You will be responsible for delivering a variety of pivotal Operational functions to efficiently drive and support our fast-growing global company.

We’re looking for someone with the right expertise to help direct delivery against our ambitious growth plans, improve our customer proposition and implement efficiencies to directly impact the profit performance of the business. You will help to lead our growing Operations team with passion and energy to solve operational problems, improve operational KPI performance and deliver new functionalities on time in full every single time.

You must have the drive to always look for better ways to do things, to use your initiative to creatively solve difficult problems and make decisions to solves issues as quickly as possible, leading by example with enthusiasm and passion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the production and supply planning process of our S&OP

  • Delivery of optimised, streamlined and measurable inventory management process
  • Delivery of optimised, efficient and measurable fulfilment operation
  • Delivery of Key Operational Initiatives on time, in full
  • Delivery of accurate and optimised operational systems
  • Delivery against Operations KPIs and responsibility for Operations KPI dashboard & month-end reporting to the Senior Management Team
  • Responsibility for the production QC feedback loop to continually improve product performance
  • Responsibility for all operational supplier relationships
  • Management of our growing, energetic team working in inventory, logistics and operational systems & workflows

Skills/ Attributes

  • You’ll have at least 5 years’ experience managing Operations for a  consumer goods brand with multi-channel fulfilment, international sourcing and global logistics
  • You’ll have substantial experience on delivering operating plans, adding efficiencies and setting up new processes and systems to further functionality & continually improve consumer offering
  • You’ll be a confident self-starter with a can-do attitude who excels at solving problems and creating streamlined solutions to enable business change or optimise BAU operations
  • You’ll have strong analytical skills, be an excel whizz with the ability to create accurate, timely and easy to digest reports for the Senior Management Team
  • You’ll be extremely organised, able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously to keep everything on track
  • You’ll be highly personable and able to form great and productive working relationships
  • You’ll have experience managing an operational team running inventory, logistics and operational software/ systems in a fast-growing consumer goods business
  • You’ll have the proven ability to work with international suppliers & a global team to continually improve our customer proposition across the business
  • You’ll be confident in managing a high workload
  • Ideally, you’ll have worked previously in a in fast growing start-up/ scale-up environment
