Selah with Sinclair was founded by Royce Sinclair Sarpy. We partner with schools, after-school programs, and various youth advocacy programs to provide restorative approaches and social-emotional learning catering to the development of the whole child. The past 4 years in the DMV metro area, Royce has built partnerships and collaborated with organizations serving predominately Black and Brown children from pre-k to college. He has been fortunate to garner a following of Black and Brown people of all ages and developed a strong social media presence through transferable and motivational wellness content. Our mission is to work towards dismantling misconceptions held by and about Black and Brown children by offering alternatives to exclusionary discipline within the PK-12 education system and beyond by providing students with the tools to express tough emotions using trauma-informed and social-emotional practices. Through our services, Black and Brown children will be able to replicate these practices overtime and further transform their lives and the lives of those around them on their developmental journey to self-actualization.
