Liforme’s base layer is a stable, sustainably sourced natural rubber base, providing strength and cushioning. The ultra-thin top layer is crafted from our proprietary eco-polyurethane, designed for a smooth yet incredibly grippy surface that supports every movement.

But what truly sets it apart is the layer in between: our patented CleanGrip® barrier layer. A non-absorbent, glue-free innovation that prevents sweat from soaking into the mat. Moisture evaporates quickly from the surface, helping your mat stay cleaner, drier, and more hygienic, whilst still maintaining the high-performance grip Liforme is known for.

Top Surface

The top surface of Liforme Yoga Mats is expertly engineered to deliver a smooth, comfortable feel, while its absorbent, moisture-wicking material draws sweat away to maintain exceptional grip throughout your practice.

Middle Layer

This innovative barrier layer, exclusive to Liforme, is designed to be fully waterproof - preventing moisture from reaching the natural rubber base. Instead, it channels sweat away and encourages it to evaporate upwards, helping to keep your Yoga mat more hygienic, quicker-drying, and easier to clean.

Base layer

Made from sustainably sourced natural rubber and protected by a carefully engineered middle layer, the base of every Liforme Yoga Mat stays dry and clean -helping to reduce maintenance while supporting long-lasting performance. The result is a mat that grips securely to the floor without slipping, so you can move with confidence, stability, and complete focus on your flow.

Closed-Cell Mats

Closed-cell mats (commonly made from PVC) don’t absorb moisture, so the sweat can go anywhere (including on your friend practising next to you!).When doing a sweaty practice these mats will be very slippery.

Regular absorbent mats allow the sweat to reach all the way down to the base and are unhygienic. Unless you drench-clean the whole base there may be sweat and bacteria that linger in it.
