Small Loop Poses

Precision is particularly valuable around a single foot or ankle. Find your setting once, remember your number and recreate it quickly. Exactly the right size of loop is key for easy entry AND steady support. If the loop is too small it’s a struggle to wiggle your foot into it; too big and your foot falls out – both are inefficient and distracting

Reclined Hand-to-big-Toe Pose
Low Lunge
Head-to-knee pose
Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Supta Padangusthasana

Lie flat on your back with both legs extended along the floor. Bend your right knee towards your chest and loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around the arch or ball of your right foot. Holding both ends of the strap, gradually straighten your right leg towards the ceiling, using the strap to extend your reach without forcing the leg closer to you. Keep your left leg long and active, pressing the back of the thigh towards the floor, and maintain a relaxed neck and shoulders. Hold for several breaths before gently releasing and repeating on the opposite side.

Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Anjaneyasana Variation

Begin in a low lunge with your right foot forward and your left knee resting on the mat. Bend your left leg and bring the heel towards your seat, then loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around the top or sole of your left foot. Hold the strap with your hands and gradually draw the foot towards you while keeping your chest lifted and your front knee aligned over the ankle. Use the strap to extend your reach rather than pulling aggressively, allowing the front of the left hip and thigh to open gradually. Release slowly and repeat on the opposite side.

Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Janu Sirsasana

Sit with your right leg extended straight in front of you and bend your left knee, bringing the sole of your left foot towards the inner right thigh. Loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around the ball or arch of your extended right foot and hold both ends with your hands. Lengthen upwards through your spine before gently hinging forwards from the hips, using the strap to extend your reach towards the foot. Keep the extended leg active and avoid rounding deeply through the lower back as you move into the stretch. Hold for several breaths, then slowly return upright and repeat on the opposite side.

Medium Loop Poses

Ideal for folds and hamstring work and the like – when you need both arms (forearm balance!) or legs looped in, OR you want to loop the Strap around your feet whilst holding it in your hands. The measurements make your setup consistent and trackable, helping you notice changes in your practice over time.

Crow Pose
Boat Pose
Cow Face Pose
Perfect for seated and reclined poses, especially folds and hip openers.

Bakasana

Begin in a squat with your feet grounded and place the Liforme Yoga Strap around your upper arms, just above the elbows. Tighten the strap so it provides gentle support and prevents the elbows from moving too far apart as you prepare to lift into Bakasana. Place your hands firmly on the mat, bring your knees towards your upper arms, and gradually shift your weight forwards into your hands. Engage your core and lift your feet from the floor, using the strap to help maintain stable arm alignment and controlled balance. Keep your gaze slightly forwards and lower back down with control.

Perfect for seated and reclined poses, especially folds and hip openers.

Navasana

Sit with your knees bent and feet resting on the floor, then loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around the balls of both feet. Hold the ends of the strap in your hands and begin to lean your torso back slightly while keeping your spine long and chest lifted. Gradually straighten or lift your legs, using the strap to provide support and help maintain a stable connection between your hands and feet. Keep your shoulders relaxed and engage your abdominal muscles to maintain control without collapsing through the lower back. Hold for several breaths before bending the knees and carefully lowering the feet.

Gomukahasana

Sit comfortably and bring your arms into the Gomukhasana position, with one arm reaching overhead and the other reaching behind your back. Hold the Liforme Yoga Strap between both hands, allowing the strap to bridge the space between them if your hands do not comfortably meet. Gradually walk your hands towards each other along the strap until you feel a gentle opening across the shoulders, chest, and upper arms. Keep your ribs relaxed and your spine upright rather than forcing the hands closer together. Hold for several breaths before releasing and changing the arm position.

Large Loop Poses

Particularly useful for alignment, stability and restorative support, where finding the right size before settling into the pose means less adjusting once you're there (and more time to receive the scrumptious benefits!). Sink right into fully supported relaxation – without the faff of refiguring out loop size every time

Butterfly Pose
Legs up the wall
Boat Pose Variation
Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Baddha Konasana

Sit with the soles of your feet together and allow your knees to open out comfortably to the sides. Loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around your lower back and then around the outside edges or soles of your feet, creating a supportive loop around the pelvis and legs. Adjust the strap so it supports the position without pulling the knees or feet into place, allowing the hips and inner thighs to soften naturally. Sit tall through the spine and let your shoulders relax as you breathe steadily into the pose. Remain here for several breaths, gradually allowing the hips to release without forcing the knees towards the floor.

Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Ideal for single-leg work, where precision helps you find the perfect fit.

Navasana Variation

Sit with your knees bent and feet resting on the floor, then loop the Liforme Yoga Strap around the balls of both feet. Bring the strap up towards your head and position it behind your ears, resting it comfortably against the back of your head without placing pressure on the neck. Hold the strap ends and gradually lean your torso back, then lift and extend your legs while keeping your chest open and spine long. Use the strap to create support between your feet and head, helping you maintain the shape of the pose while engaging your core and keeping your shoulders relaxed. Hold for several breaths, then bend your knees and carefully lower your feet before releasing the strap.

No Loop Poses

Our LoopForMe™ design is useful in many Yoga postures, common stretches and exercises even when you're not making a loop. The continuous measurement system can help you measure grip width, keep both sides symmetrical and track changes in reach and mobility.

Triangle pose
Seated twist
Shoulder Flossing
Use the Strap without a loop to measure, create space, build symmetry and support alignment.

Trikonasana

Begin standing with your feet wide apart and turn your right foot out while keeping your left foot slightly angled inwards. Hold the Liforme Yoga Strap in both hands, reaching one hand down towards your right leg while extending the other hand upwards, using the strap to maintain length through both arms. Keep your chest open and rotate gently through the upper body without collapsing towards the floor. Use the strap to extend your reach while keeping both sides of the waist long and maintaining comfortable alignment through the legs and spine. Hold for several breaths, then slowly return to standing and repeat on the opposite side.

Use the Strap without a loop to measure, create space, build symmetry and support alignment.

Seated twist

Sit with your legs extended or comfortably crossed and hold the Liforme Yoga Strap between both hands. Extend your arms forwards with the strap taut, then gently rotate your torso to one side while maintaining length through the spine. Use the strap to encourage reach through both arms and help keep the chest lifted as you deepen the rotation without forcing the movement. Keep your hips grounded and allow the twist to come primarily from the spine and upper body while keeping your shoulders relaxed. Hold for several breaths, then return to centre and repeat on the opposite side.

Use the Strap without a loop to measure, create space, build symmetry and support alignment.

Shoulder Mobility

Sit or stand comfortably and hold the Liforme Yoga Strap between both hands with a wide grip. Keeping your arms straight, slowly raise the strap overhead and, if comfortable, continue moving it behind your head and back towards your hips. Maintain a relaxed neck and shoulders while gradually adjusting your hand position to explore your comfortable range of motion. Keep your ribs and spine stable rather than arching the lower back to compensate for limited shoulder mobility. Repeat the movement slowly and with control, using the strap to support a gentle increase in shoulder range.
